About Real Kashmir FC

Real Kashmir FC Team Celebration

A Beacon of Hope & Sporting Excellence

Founded in 2016 by Scottish philanthropist David Robertson and local businessman Sandeep Chattoo, Real Kashmir Football Club emerged from the picturesque valleys of Jammu & Kashmir with a mission to provide a platform for local talent and foster unity through sport. The club's inception marked a new chapter in the region's sporting history, aiming to bring professional football to the forefront.

Nicknamed "The Snow Leopards," the club embodies the resilience and grace of the region's iconic animal. In just its third season, RKFC achieved a historic promotion to the I-League, India's top football division, in 2018. This remarkable feat was followed by a stunning third-place finish in their debut I-League season (2018-19), capturing the imagination of football fans across the nation.

Based at the iconic TRC Turf Ground in Srinagar, the club has become a symbol of normalcy, hope, and aspiration for the youth of Kashmir. Our philosophy extends beyond the pitch, focusing on community development, education, and providing a positive outlet for the region's energetic young population.
